What You’ll Need to Make a T-Shirt With an SVG File
So…what do you need to start making an actual physical item? Here are a few things I use when I am getting creative!
Iron-on vinyl
Electronic Cutting Machine like a Cricut Machine, Silhouette (find one that has free shipping)
Cricut Mat (Silhouette Users can use their mats)
Heat Press or heat source like a household iron
SVG image
Physical products like coffee mugs
When it’s time to start making things with your electronic cutting machine, it is important that you have the right file. A png file, jpg files, eps file, pdf files and dxf files aren’t ideal for using these machines.
The good news is with some helpful tips and free SVG’s, you’ll go from a hot mess to a seasoned designer in no time.
It is a huge help to know that with Silhouette designer edition and Cricut design space, you can simply upload your SVG, follow a cutting machine full tutorial and take the first step to getting crafty.
Once you start making things, you will want to make something every single day!
So now you’ve got everything you need to have a great time making shirts. Use your cut image to make a DIY shirt or whatever makes you happy!
Downloaded SVG files are for personal use only. Please email info@artbeatbox.com for information to obtain a commercial use license.
